The VEL’S INDUSTRIAL TRINING INSTITUE owes its inception to the munificence and foresight of our visionary of Sankrankoil Prof. S. MURUGARAJ, one of the foremost educationist and philanthropists of this part of the country.
He founded VEL’S Education Charity Trust in 2011 with the avowed object of establishing educational institutions. Established in 2012, as one of the Plan Schemes under the five Year Plan, this Industrial Training Institute has grown phenomenally.

The Institution is to be affiliated to National Council of Vocational Training, Government of India, New Delhi and Quality Council of India, New Delhi and the overall management of the Institution is vested with the Governing Council Under the able leadership of prof.S.Murugaraj, Managing Trustee, Vel’s Educational Trust.
VEL’S INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE, Sankarankoil established in the year 2012 is one of the best INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTION in India. Created as a Centre of Excellence for higher treaining and skill development in Technical level.
The Institute is located at Vadakupudur village, Sankarankoil, 60Km from Tirunelveli, Tamilnadu. Extending into area of 10 acres, the campus is imaginatively laid with clean and wide roads it presents a spectacle of harmony in architecture and natural beauty. Well-Equipped labs workshops and spacious classrooms ensure effective Teaching – Learning Process.
The campus houses a, Canteen, Xerox Centre, Medical Facility, Public Telephone Booth, IT Lab and Sports Centre to fulfil the needs of various Stakeholders.
